Product Description
Our beveled style provides a unique option to the more traditional fine line style. The beveled emboss has wide V shaped lines (9/16" wide) compared to the fine line emboss which has narrow (1/16") U shaped lines. The fine line and beveled patterns are both the same depth.
D4B is a variation on our most common pattern, D4 fine line, which is an improvement to the common "quilted pattern". Stainless Supply's design is based on a 2.82" square dimension instead of the common 3". This causes the point to point dimension to be an even 4", allowing the diamonds to be full on all edges of a full 4' x 10' or 4' x 8' sheet. In contrast, the common 3" design will not line up on full sheets and not give a seamless transition to full sheets installed next to each other. Using our trim molding, the pattern on full sheets of quilted stainless steel will appear to run continuously.
This is made out of your choice of 22 gauge or 24 gauge stainless steel sheet metal. It comes with a PVC film on one side to help protect against scratching during fabrication and installation.
If you need any fabrication (hemming, rounded corners), you must select the "cut to your size" option and not "stock sheets".
Stainless Supply is the manufacturer and source of embossed stainless steel. We produce our patterns in a high precision machine offering a high quality and more pronounced pattern depth compared to many other manufacturers.
Unless specified, Stainless Supply centers the embossed patterns on custom and cut to size pieces. If you need help with ordering, have a large project that needs quoted, or have any questions, do not hesitate to call us at 877-484-0088.
More Information
304 Stainless Steel #4 Finish
304 stainless steel is a commercial grade of stainless steel sheet metal and the most widely used stainless steel. 304 stainless steel sheet metal is a versatile, anti-rusting and heat resistant steel for general use. 304 stainless steel sheet metal uses include food equipment, plumbing materials, kitchen sinks, and back splashes. 304 stainless steel sheet #4 finish is austenitic, meaning it will not attract or hold a magnet. If you need that option in stainless steel, the 430 grade will hold a magnet.
304 Stainless Steel #8 Mirror
304 stainless steel sheet #8 mirror has a non-directional finish that virtually looks like a mirror. 304 stainless steel sheet #8 mirror possesses a highly polished finish and does not contain or have a coating or finishing material to give it reflectivity. 304 stainless steel sheet #8 mirror comes with a double layer of PVC film to protect the mirror finish during fabrication and installation.
304 Stainless Steel Sheet Bright Annealed (BA) Finish
The 304 stainless steel bright annealed (BA) finish is cold rolled stainless steel that is annealed in a controlled atmosphere to retain a highly reflective finish. Although it is not completely identical to the #8 mirror finish, it appears to be very similar. The 304 stainless steel bright annealed finish has a PVC film on one side to help protect against scratching during fabrication and installation.
316L Stainless Steel Sheet #4 Finish
316L stainless steel sheet metal, also called marine grade stainless steel, is used primarily for its increased resistance to corrosion. The "L" means that the carbon content of the alloy is below 0.03% which makes the 316L stainless steel sheet preferable for welding. Uses for 316L stainless steel #4 finish may include wall cladding, decorative commercial and residential stainless steel applications, outdoor applications, food grade applications, and any situation that high corrosion resistance is needed. 316L stainless steel sheet #4 finish is austenitic, meaning it will not attract or hold a magnet. If you need that option in stainless steel, the 430 grade will hold a magnet.
316L Stainless Steel Sheet #8 Mirror
316L stainless steel sheet #8 mirror has a non-directional finish that virtually looks like a mirror. 316L stainless steel sheet #8 mirror possesses a highly polished finish and does not contain or have a coating or finishing material to give it reflectivity. 316L stainless steel sheet #8 mirror comes with a double layer of PVC film to protect the mirror finish during fabrication and installation.
430 Stainless Steel Sheet #4 Finish
430 stainless steel sheet metal is a slightly lower grade than the 300 series and is commonly used for applications when the metal needs to hold a magnet, which the 300 series does not. 430 stainless steel sheet #4 finish is slightly more susceptible to corrosion since it does not contain nickel or molybdenum like the 300 series. Common uses are for 430 stainless steel sheet #4 finish are automotive trim, kitchen appliances, sinks, decorative trim and any other application that requires stainless steel that will hold a magnet. This metal will hold a magnet, but not act as a magnet.
430 Stainless Steel Sheet #8 Mirror
430 stainless steel sheet #8 mirror has a non-directional finish that virtually looks like a mirror. Although the 430 stainless steel #8 retains the same designation as the 304 stainless steel #8, the mirror quality may be slightly less than the 304 #8 mirror quality. 430 stainless steel sheet #8 mirror does not contain or have a coating or finishing material to give it reflectivity. 430 stainless steel sheet #8 mirror comes with a double layer of PVC film to protect the mirror finish during fabrication and installation.
430 Stainless Steel Sheet Bright Annealed (BA) Finish
The 430 bright annealed (BA) finish is cold rolled stainless steel that is annealed in a controlled atmosphere to retain a highly reflective finish. Although it is not completely identical to the #8 mirror finish, it appears to be very similar. The 430 stainless steel bright annealed finish has a PVC film on one side to help protect against scratching during fabrication and installation.
