430 stainless steel sheet #8 mirror has a non-directional finish that virtually looks like a mirror. Although the 430 stainless steel #8 retains the same designation as the 304 stainless steel #8, the mirror quality may be slightly less than the 304 #8 mirror quality. 430 stainless steel sheet #8 mirror does not contain or have a coating or finishing material to give it reflectivity. 430 stainless steel sheet #8 mirror comes with a double layer of PVC film to protect the mirror finish during fabrication and installation.
We offer value added fabrication to our 430 stainless steel #8 mirror, including hemming, laser cutting and corner rounding. We also manufacture trim molding and embossed sheets out of our 430 stainless steel #8 finish. The maximum thickness of 430 stainless steel sheet #8 mirror that we can hem is 22 gauge. 430 stainless steel sheet metal is a slightly lower grade than the 300 series and is commonly used for applications when the metal needs to hold a magnet, which the 300 series does not. 430 stainless steel sheet is more susceptible to corrosion since it does not contain nickel or molybdenum like the 300 series. Common uses are for 430 stainless steel sheet #8 finish are automotive trim, decorative trim, wall cladding, and any other application that requires stainless steel that will hold a magnet and possess a highly polished finish.
